Spotify in USA?

I have a Spotify invite code and want to try it out but it's not available in US yet. Does anyone on here from the US have Spotify and if so how did you get it to not recognize that you're in the us?

P.S I already have the app downloaded.

You would need a proxy and it would be slow and rubbish so in the end it just wouldn't be worth it.

You could use something like Hotspot Shield, you create a VPN with them and use thier internet gateway, thus giving you and American IP. That's what I use when I want to use sites such as Hulu and Pandora, so I assume this will work just as well for you.

are you sure its not available? because some songs say they are not available in your region. Maybe you need a US pin number?

The spotify app itself allows streaming from any country. You just need a UK address to download the app.
