Default Whats not up for discussion?

The fact moderators have double standards and ban only who they think cause trouble?

I give as good as I get, thickooooos. Gawd I could name a few people who if you removed perm from the spam forum, there would be zero arguments, but no. I'd be one of them obvs, but no, because that'd be so ******* unfair on people and very 'unlike' habbox, so they have to do it to some procedure which a HABBO FORUM has.

the forum is more like a business, with grievance procedures and the all.

theres ya discussion, now discuss on whether you agree or not on how this is the case.

Ryan, you are going to really annoy them. And the moderators follow guidelines and rules, not what you tell them to do

Thats the idea my dear sir (A)

Guidelines and rules, yet they threaten people who bully like hell... I've never actually seen anyone banned for bullying, except maybe Jen AGES AGO. Its the sort of action which is threatened, but will never really happen UNLESS SOMETHING RLY RLY BAD HAPPENS. You'd need to get the police involved to have that happen, or post a turd through sierk's door lolol.

Unfortunately Ryan, if we did not follow the "grievance" procedures you describe we would receive more complaints than we do already. We go through a process that is fair and gives members a number of chances so as to let them prove themselves and understand if they are wrong. Bullying is not tolerated, and Moderators have been told to take a zero-tolerance approach and that is how we will deal with bullying from now on. I know when I was an SMod, members who consistently bullied would be banned without question. Although I don't think it has gone as far as that yet, we will be dealing with those who think they can bully others far harsher than we would other forms of rule breaking.

Members should already be banned without question, hell if that system was in place I'd be well banned.

Zero tolerance though, what a load of toss. There's more red tape stopping MODs from doing their jobs than actually banning people who cause the problems. It's like the forum management are scared of banning people, in case they turn on the forum and start "*_*"+HACKINGZ*+"*"+"_ the forum.

Thats how I see it anyway, I asked to be banned from the spam forum and thats exactly what I got... for 7 days. You'll still experience problems no matter what because the same old tosspots are in there.

It is not just you who receives a punishments for something they have done. Everyone who breaks the rules is dealt with one way or another and a lot of the time everyone but moderators are unaware as to the actions we take and procedures used to stop it from happening.

However, with a ban system in place that is gained by infractions the majority of the time people have overexaggerated and underestimated the actions that are taken and are either said to be too weak or too much.

HabboxForum already reserves the right to ban people without any warning and without any reason, but if we were to do that, it would be unfair. If it did happen and it happened consistently, members would (rightly) argue that it's not fair. We need to follow the procedure so that people aren't getting banned willy nilly for no reason other than a dislike or a distaste for them - we must know the member is breaking rules.
A member may be the root of an argument, but that does not necessarily mean they intend to cause arguments or break rules. Therefore it would be both ridiculous and unprincipled for us to ban that member.
