You don't have to buy them and yeah, the Sims 3 has been talked about for months, maybe even years It looks to be quite good, but not alot has been released about game play - small facts about creating characteristics for the Sims have been released though

Very much doubt it, both are very different. The design of the homes and furniture in the expansion packs is a bit basic compared to what is appearing in the Sims 3.

The last video you posted makes it sound alot like Spore, with the online sharing of furniture and the way you can customise each item of furniture and share characters... If it's sent off the EA immediately after making it (or allows the option), then it's alot like Spore

I'm not. It was supposed to be coming out on my birthday :@ and now when it arrives on 5th June I won't be able to play it till the 10th because of exams :@
