Default Questions regarding Habbox Values and the Habbo economy.

    Evening,

A friend and myself have witnessed a concerning issue within the Habbox rare values and the Habbo economy. (This post might not make sense if you dont understand mathmematics or I probably just dont make sense.)

Firstly, the Habbo club sofa. You have this priced as 40RD when they sell for 14 credits (mainly) at this point in time. 40RD = 40 Credits. This should be changed unless a valid reason stops it.

Second of all, the value of a throne. (This is the maths part.)

Ok, so at the moment, a Club Sofa is worth 14 credits and a Throne is valued at 77 Club Sofas, a throne is worth exactly 1078 credits. At 10p per credit, that is £107.80p.

Also, the rubber duck theory. If 77*40 = 3080 RD, thats 3080 Credits equaling £308. All of this is just unnecessary, mainly for the cost of these items but then also that there are quite a few out of there (Its just nobody is selling them.)

Im sorry to say this, but people are willing to sell thrones on ebay for just around £25, not knowing the full extent of what they are selling. Either get the values down dramatically, NOW or basically its a get rich quick scheme for people with loads of thrones.

£25 - 250 Credits. If you are looking at 14 credits for a CS that is 17.857 (Round to nearest whole number = 18 CS per throne.) Or on your RD value = 250/40 which is 6.25 (Yet again to nearest whole number = 6 CS.)

So, what this post is trying to say is, either the values are terribly wrong or people arent realising the full price of a throne.

    Regards,
    Frank.

    Ok heres the thing

people value credits much higher than rubber ducks - As with credits you can buy pretty much any rares or things of the catalog whearas just rubber ducks sell for about 2-3 per credit

Also Habbo do charge 10P per credit which we know but you are not allowed to sell habbo furni for real life cash but obviously people do. People buy thrones on ebay for around the £20 mark because people are willing to sell them for this price as you cant sell them to habbo and get money back that way as a person may have won a throne bet and they will be £20 richer in rl so yes they can make a bit of money this way

I hope you understand this - If you have any questions feel free to P.M. me or comment in this thread or make a new one

    Thanks

P.S. Another thing is you can not come in here and tell us to drop the prices of thrones rapidly , the price of the throne is this price because if we see people commonly buying for a higher price of the value we will rase it

    Thanks

just to add on to arch...

If someone put a throne on ebay for £107 i doubt it would find a buyer. So these people who are maybe leaving habbo want to at least get some of the money back from what they have put into habbo.

The problem is that once real life currency is spent on Habbo is loses its value, so say if I bought 30 credits for £3, I wouldn't be able to get that £3 back as it has lost its value. Also on the RD/Throne/Credits issue, RD, CS and Credits are all independant currencies, yes they can be reliant on eachother but they do not always equal eachother as item such as ducks are worth far less. I think one day the RD system may be phased out because the balance of rare furniture to normal furniture is tipping whereas normal furniture used to be a currency, it is now rares that are the bottom currency.

If you have any questions, I will answer more in depth next time.

1 - 1rd is not equal to 1 credit. 1 credit is worth around 3rd if not more.
2 - at habbox we do not value furniture by using habbos credit prices. Habbo may sell creds 10p per but that doesn't mean a hc is 140 creds!
3 - it is against the Habbo way and illegal to sell Habbo furniture for real life cash - another reason why you can't convert the prices of Habbo furni in to real life cash.
4 - I think it would be pathetic to sell pixels for over 100GBP - don't you?

Hope this helps, any other questions just reply back in this thread
