Default Sbragia ready to step down as Sunderland manager

Ricky Sbragia is ready to step down as Sunderland manager at the end of the season.

The Sun says Sbragia, 52, is having some reservations about continuing in the Black Cats hotseat and wants to revert to a coaching role at the end of the season.

Sbragia has struggled to take the club forward and has indicated his unhappiness at being forced off the training field to deal with agents, media and other managerial duties.

He admitted: “I want to keep Sunderland up. But there are bad times when you lose a few games and it’s not pleasant.”
Thank **** for that, but can't he just leave now?

I wouldn't say threatening to punch their lights out is motivation.

I remember when Sbragia was still "temporary" the players could be heard screaming for him to get the job. i just don't know where its gone recently. tbh, i cant see why our last match gave us an entire blog entry on bbc sport.
