Those who have New Super Mario Bros on the DS would be happy to see that they have made a Wii version of the Game.

The game comtains several new powerups such as the Propellor suit which enables the player to fly and the Penguin suit which freezes enemies. This game can be played up to 4 players co-op style. The ability to ride a Yoshi has returned from Super Mario world on the GBA. The 4 main players you can play as are: Mario, Luigi, Yellow Toad and Blue Toad.

They have added a special competitive element within the game if your playing alongisde friends. This is to show how much enemies you and ur friends have defeated, how much coins etc. See the video above for the trailer

Yeah that was on the Super Mario World on the SNES.

Yeah i played the SNES version of the game. Also you can grab your team mates on New Super Mario Bros: Wii to help them in co-op mode or you can throw them into danger in Competitive mode

Also the game will use the Wii's Motion Sensor for various actions

He didn't say you couldn't. He said Yoshi returns from Super Mario World on the GBA because that was his last adventure. Its like you'd say 2D Mario returns from New Super Mario Bros DS but that doesn't neccesarily mean that it was his first adventure.
