    Default Threatening phone calls. +rep

Today, we have had a number of phone calls from my sisters ex and his mates. They are prank calls, simply because their 'relationship' ended. Him and his mates are saying stuff to my sister on the phone, and she wont tell us what they say and wont let us speak. I just answered it just now, and from what I gathered he said 'i will get you init' in that annoying, fake, chavvy voice. I'm sure he has been threatening my sister too. What can we do? It's getting pretty bad now. +rep

I think you should get the police involved, these sort of things are classed as a serious matter.

Pull the phone out/don't answer or call the police... although I doubt they'll do much.

Police are in the UK for a reason. If it is getting bad, I suggest you use them.

Ring them back and begin the conversation by saying "Hello, this is the police".

Do this, but honestly the police wont do much unless they actually do something.

Personally I like to mess with them, but obviously they know its the right number so that could be a bit hard unless you pretend to be the cops on the phone to them or prank your sisters ex back, get his number and do you worst.

Call the police. They will most likely stop if they have an officer stop them for harassment.

See if they do anything, then call the police if they do
if they haven't done anything, then the police probs wont do much
