Well my dad saw this TVR in the auction and thought he would get it. So I got back from the shop and saw it parked outside, I had a quick look at it and went in to ask if it was ours. He said yeh and told me how dangerous it is because it has a 400bhp V8 putting all it's power into the rear wheels and has no ABS or traction control. He kept using it to go places in but wouldn't take me out until he got more use to it. I thought that it wasn't even going to be that bad. So the next day he asked me if I wanted to go out in it and I said yeh. We put the roof down and got in it and he started it up, the engine is proper loud. When we got to the end of our lane my dad booted it and we went round the corned sideways and flew off down the road peaking at around 110mph. We came to the lights and booted it again just as we where turning but this time we did spun round doing a 360 and ended up on the wrong side of the road, so we carried on down there until we came to a pub resteraunt car park where we did donuts around while getting shouted at by numerous people. We parked up and my dad went in to get the drinks and I heard cars skidding then a massive bang, my dad came out with the drinks and we saw 2 cars that had crashed into eachover, my kept saying "it's telling us something we need to slow down". Then it started raining so we put the roof up and toddled off back home at granny speed. :/

im nto against the idea, i do drive dangerous sumtimes, and i know i can control it as my car has traction control and abs and im a good driver but doing a 360 going out of control and ending up on the wrong side of the road doesnt sound like fun really it sounds like a toff who just bought a car he cant drive and ended up putting his sons life at danger

It's just that my dad has always gone on about muscle cars saying that if we ever get 1 in he'll take me out in it. So he just wanted to show me what they are like. He can handle it but he's not drove that type of car in a long time. You can't just go fast round corners like you can in any other car, muscle cars a very tail happy so turn sideways/spin when you turn really easily.

And Dave, I would have to agree with you aswell as disagreeing with you. They are unbelievably unreliable, unsafe, use to much fuel, hard to drive, uncomfortable, ugly looking and probs quite a few other things. But what makes them so good is that they are simple. An engine, transmission box and a chassis. No stupid computers, ABS or traction control. Raw power.
