Default How long do passport applications take?

I done an application on the internet just now, and it will be posted tomorrow morning, so I should recieve the application form by thursday. Then I add the photo and relative documents etc, and will post it thursday evening. I am due to fly to Ireland around the 20th July, reckon I'll get it by then?

I thought if you went to Ireland you could get away with a picture ID, like a driving license.

Citizen Card. It is government approved.

Please be aware that occasionally we may be unable to contact a verifier and this may slow down the process, this is particularly pertinent during school holidays if you teacher is your verifier."

Get an Oyster card or something, you're not too far out London so I dunno if you can get them, but if you go Scotland etc you don't need a passport I don't think

I'm sure you can use an old expired passport for ID? Then it saves you sending off for a new one.
