Default AMD motherboard (£50 or less)

Hey. Disaster has struck.. Ebuyer has sold out of the motherboard I was going to buy and I forgot to note down the modelnumber, and the ebuyer page won't display. Disaster, yes.

I need help finding an ATX motherboard for my AM2+ (it's AM3 but AM2+ works too) processor. It needs to support DDR2 1066 RAM and it needs to be good (hehe).

This is my fourth thread about computers, so sorry if I am annoying you with these threads, but my plans have been ruined by eBuyer being out of stock and me forgetting the modelnumber.

Also, if you were wondering, my motherboard was ASUS and it only had one PS/2 slot for the keyboard. So if you can find the model for me, that would also be appreciated.

    So, suggest away!

Edit: Just found http://www.ebuyer.com/product/161639 - Is it anygood? Looks decent for the price, to me.

Is i think the one you were looking at (if you wanted to look at details)

New one looks good, although only 2 sata ports while the other had 6, if you dont need em though not to bigger loss + this one includes an IDE port so could use an older cd/dvd drive if wanted

You may want to upgrade PC so you will want more SATA ports surely?
Never argue with an idiot, he'll drag you down to his level, and beat you with experience.

Just remember the CPU in that video is an old Athlon, they look like this now. You need to spread the compound all over it.

If you're overclocking you will need a better motherboard.

    Arrggh, suggestions please?

Also, about the CPU cooler, I have read some reviews and have heard that http://www.overclock.co.uk/product/X...oler_1628.html < that is one of the best air CPU coolers. Is it better than the OCZ Vendetta II?

    Regards.

Edit: What about the gigabyte one I posted earlier in this thread, or can you suggest another for 50£ --?

Edit: I've found this also, please take a look and see if it is better, thanks:

Maybe, but for £50, I wouldn't expect any amazing results
