Not sure if anyone's seen this, haven't seen any threads about it but yea, I saw it last night and was very much disappointed, I love the first and second movie but this just wasn't funny at all, the plot was ok but teenage mutant ninja turtles have already done the "dinosaurs living under Earths crust" stuff and it felt like a bad revisit to that, I personally didn't have many "laugh out loud" moments, in fact I had none, which is annoying since I've been looking forward to this move for sometime, don't know if anyone else has the same thoughts but yea.

I don't do animation, and I don't do family films - unless they were made pre-1996.

Some animations are certainly worth it, like Toy Story, Find Nemo, Ice Age 1 and that new Tim Burton and Shane Acker movie "Nine" looks like it's worth having a look at.

I generally watch anything, I prefer comedy to anything, animation or not, as long as it's entertaining, mostly follow actors rather than directors, Adam Sandler, Dane Cook and Will Smith mostly.

But yea, shame about Ice Age 3 being a flop, it's probably worth seeing if you like to see what happens after Ice Age 2 but it's really nothing special.

Can't even do Toy Story. Just dislike animation. The last animated film I saw that I loved was A Scanner Darkly, but that's completely different - it was shot in live action, then it took a team of animators like a year to animate over the footage in rotoscope creating a very unique effect.

That's a pretty good looking movie, I like that sort of effect, it works really good with video games aswell, going to have to check that one out sometime, though it's quite far down on my list at the moment, got so many movies I have to get hold of still, my current lovefilm list has like 25 films for me to see, not to mention new releases, although at the moment nothing too interesting has come out.. Other than Harry Potter, like hell am I seeing that.

I'm going too, don't know when yet but I'm going too, although I can't tell what genre it is, I assumed war drama but the trailers made me think maybe a bit of comedy as well?

Definitely looks worth a watch though.

It's a drama. Barely any action in it, but when there are, it's great. Yup, it's got some hilarious moments. Very dark comedy. It's a masterpiece. The final line of the film is nothing but the truth.

Dark comedy is my kind of comedy, I'll definitely have to see this one as I was interested when I first saw the trailer but I didn't feel it really showed much, it seemed like one of them trailers that will try make you laugh to get you interested, even if it means not showing the depth of what the whole movie is, which really annoys me about movies like Ice Age because the trailers always make it look better than the final product is.
