On the new Habbo, the last imp you pick up is the first one which will drop. So, if someone picked them up the linking ones on BETA and then traded you straight away, they'd be the same ones. So, if you're buying imps and wanting proof, I reccomend not changing rooms

    Not online very often

im sure this is like.. 4 years old.

its a classic scam. a lot more people tend to do this now instead of "quick trade" because its simply impossible to do that.

these scammers will buy an imp for like 3 credits each then sell two for about 12c. it's actually quite clever. but very annoying if your buying them (happened to me alot)

They're should be a symbol in the trade to show they link, like a little lock in the corner of the imps icon, to show they are linked..

Or an open lock to show they don't link

i now this trick ive fell for it quite a bit its simple and effective to do all u need is 2 non linking imps that u can buy cheap leave them in ya hand and have a real linking pair in a room go to a trade room advertise ya selling them they go to your room they test the real linking ones u pick them up then u open a trade then u look threw ya hand for the imps u had in ya hand before picking the real ones up ( because iteams newly picked up stay at the front untill u move rooms so the non linking would be far bk in ya hand) place them in the trade and there none the wiser untill they get to there room...

so next time if the trade lasts a while longer than normaly it would for a simple 2 iteam trade then u have a idea that it might be the case and u jot the name down and if it is u then inform the people u know about this person but the scammign said cant be helped because theres not much u can do to prove this even happend.
