Default Installing a PS3 Save Game. (Tutorial.)

As you may/may not know, I recently attempted to install a PS3 save game onto my friend's PS3. Alot of swearwords were used, and help was needed, but in the end I managed to work out how to do it.

Right, so you've downloaded the save game you're looking for right?
Now, on your memory stick/usb stick/whatever you're using to transfer your saved game, make a folder called ''PS3'' inside that folder, make another called, ''SAVEGAME''.

Now you've done that, put your saved game folder into the savegame folder on your memory stick, now for most of you, you might just be able to plug your USB stick in, scroll down to save data utility folder on your PS3, find your save game, press triangle, select copy, run your game and bam, there it is.

It wasn't that easy for my mate, so I gave up.

Around 2 weeks later my Mum got me the Slim PS3 for my birthday, and I was once again, intrigued on how to do it.

So I got up to the putting the save game on my memory stick part, and thought I'd make a new user on my PS3, (so if I had to delete my old save game, I wouldn't have to start a new game if it didn't work.

I then continued to put my memory stick into my PS3, copy the save game and run the game I wanted to add the save game to this worked.

SO! To summarise, if you put your memory stick in, copy the game, and it doesn't find your save game, simply make a new user.

It worked for me, and it worked for my mate too, so it should work for you!
(His is the fat PS3, mine is the slim, so it definately works on both.)

ANY questions, just ask and I'll reply more or less, straight away.

    Thanks for reading!

Nope, because half of the time the game doesn't recognise the save game being there, because the save game needs to be in the game data utility folder, but it gets put into the save data utility folder.

With mine all ive ever had to do is copy the save onto USB and then copy it onto whoever else's PS3 who want it. It just goes into a folder called PS3 then SAVEDATA or something similar.

Haha, oh well! It's there if anybody needs it!
I've seen alot of people say, ''I put it on the PS3 but the save game isn't there'' so I thought I'd kill that sentence off by adding that little bit of information.
