Default Hardware keylogger +rep

I recently got my laptop repaired by someone we half knew. Since then the passwords to some of my things have been changed. They mended my PC, said I had something like w32 cryptor virus and they downloaded:

    Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

    Spybot - Search & Destroy

    SpywareBlaster 4.2

Which I've never heard of before. Was wondering if there's any way we could check for any well hidden software keyloggers and any hardware keyloggers. You may think I'm overreacting but the guy who mended it doesn't own a PC shop or anything and we had only known him for a day. And I know that I was safe with my accounts.

    Thanks in advance and +rep.

I heard of Spybot searh and destroy.

There could be aback door on the others. but just search google for the other two and then use a online virus scan to scan the files...

Also you should maybe just do a fresh install of the OS and delete the partion. and yea..

Install NOD32 Antivirus, and run a scan.

    Enter the serial upon installation.

I'll PM you a serial for it ;]

Spybot, Malware Bites and Spyware Blaster are all antispyware and antimalware, NOT antivirus.

I use to have mcaffee VAIO edition but he removed that and put on AVG Free. What I'm most worried about is a hardware keylogger actually fitten into my computer, anti-virus wouldn't be able to find one of them would it?

I'm 99% sure you wont have a hardware keylogger.

Because you would notice it, they are USB devices or leads that go between the keyboard and PC.

It's a laptop so the keylogger would probably be inside it if I had one.

You don't have a hardware keylogger, laptops are so crammed in there wouldn't be any room for it
