It just updated it, nothing different, just noticebly faster.

Seems fine to me, I don't think any speed bump in chrome is going to be noticeable anyway! The speed dial thing has a "pin this thing" feature which makes it a viable alternative to opera to me now, nothing else that stands out immediately though.

I would love to use Firefox but having problems with the latest release at the moment

If Chrome had Ad-Block Plus then i'd start using it instead of Firefox.

It keeps the downloads bar at the bottom of all tabs instead of the tab you downloaded the file from now, nice.
