Is getting a iPhone really worth it?

Well from what i've seen on the apple website, they seem to be amazing! And from the looks of it, they seem amazing.

So should i get one, and what are the bad points of them?

I am in no way an "apple fanboy", the only thing from Apple that I have only ever owned is an iPod.. but i love my iphone! There are so many different apps you can get. I'd recommend you getting one

edit: see here for a discussion between the 3g and 3gs.. i can't remember if they decided whats better though!

Get an Android phone, it's app store isn't moderated by nazis, they have realistic cameras, compasses from the beginning, constant OTA updates etc.

The fact of the matter remains that even if the App Store is moderated by "Nazis" it still has way more applications. I develop apps for the store and I've personally had no problems with Apples process, at most its taken me about 2 weeks.

I'd personally get an iPhone, they are awesome.

Oh also the fact they don't allow apps that duplicate the original features of the phone is total ** too
