Atomic/ Nuclear Bomb

Its a very complicated and hard to answer question.

Say, if an Atomic bomb was to be dropped, and you where either to be smack bang in the middle.. or further away, where you would be affected by after-shock and radiation?

If you where in the middle, you would be totally oblitterated, not knowing anything, but your life would be over.

If you where near, you would live, but could suffer been thrown around by an after-shock, be burnt by the heat, and you could catch radiation sickness.

Personally, i would like to be smack bang. Life would not be worth living if circumstances turned to this.

Personally, I would prefer not being smack bang in the middle of the atomic bomb. Life is better than death, I believe, if only because it is less boring, and because it has fresh peaches in it.

Obviously ideally I would rather be totally out of the blast radius however if I had to be affected I would not want to die, I'd take anything but being in the middle and fight for my life!
