    Default Super Rare Values Concern

    Dear HabboxForum members,

I'd like to bring up and issue that I would like the opinion of all Habboxforum members. I posted a thread about the super rare values which can be found here:

    Link: http://www.habboxforum.com/showthrea...71#post6117471

    This thread said:
Hello, I just wanted to let you know that you guys are awful at the super rare values.. I think that you guys shouldn't make values for super rare values considering many of the items aren't in circulation anymore, or there aren't many left in circulation.. I'd like to point out a few things..

    1) Bubblegum & Blackcurrent ICM
.. sorry but these values are wrong.. I want proof of them being traded at this else you haven't got a resonable reason to lower the value... Considering theses items are very rare.. and there aren't many in circulation.. I'd like to see specific evidence that these were sold at this..

    Another thing...

    2) Strawberry ICM
... Why is this valued so low? Jack AKA Agore AKA Delirium has almost ALL of these.. and he is selling them all at 3T per... So therefore I think the value is wrong...

Is it possible that you could just leave the super rare values alone and focus just on the seasonals/rares.. cause I'm sure I could find plenty of people who would agree with me just to keep the super rare values alone.. and let the owners of the supers name their prices.. I appreciate all the work the rare values department has done.. I just think that they need to not worry about the super rare values, and start focusing on the other values more.. such as rares.. since many of the super rares aren't common or in circulation, it's hard for Habbox to make prices for them.. and you may say, "We only change the price to the values we see them being traded." BUT where is that proof for the following items I listed above? I'd like to see it.. cause if you have no proof, then there should be no reason to change it.. I'd like to know your opinions on this.. Thanks

Note to Moderators: This is not bashing the rare values department.. I am just suggesting something.. I will be posted a thread in another section to see what habboxforum members think about this issue.

    Thanks,
    Document
So.. basically what I want to know from the HabboxForum community is.. 'Do you think that the rare values department should "lay off" the super rare values and let the owners of the supers make up the values themselves, if yes or no, why?'
Now you may say "Well Habbox values are just a "guide".. and not all users have to folllow Habbox.." Although people may say this, 90% of Habbos use Habbox seriously.. if you don't sell at the price habbox gives, you will find that many users will start calling you names like "noob" or "greedy".. etc..
My point is that since a lot of the supers that can be found on the super rare values page on the main site are very limited or not that many in circulation, don't you think that Habbox should lay off the super rare values, and let the owners of the super rares determine the price that they want to sell for?

I'd like to know what your views are on this topic. This thread is not "bashing" the rare values department at all.. I'm just curious on what your views are of this..

So.. to conclude in a short paragraph if you don't feel like reading all that above:
Do you think that the Habbox rare values department should stay off valuing the super rares, considering that many of the super rares are very limited or low in circulation.. yes or no? and why?

I think when and if they are changeing or reporting super values they should have scrennie evidence of the person saying they will pay that amount for them, they should also post this for people to see

I think you will only be called the term 'noob' if you are trading with normal rares.

Having only just left the Rare values department, I can assure you that they are a good bunch Everything is done properly, and all values are as accurate as they can be. Occasionly things take a while to update, but they like to make sure that values are accurate before changing them.

As you said, Habbox is a guide, and you don't have to use the rare values, but a lot of people do, because they believe them to be accurate. Letting users decide their own values of supers, could not be such a good idea, as then people would obviously make high up prices, since they want the best profit possible. You have to look at the amount of that particular super that's left, and the most recent trades, and they change the values going on recent trades.

When a super isn't traded very often, it can be difficult for the value to change, as there would be no "last trade value". But if you get reporters coming back having witnessed supers selling for prices, then when averaged out, surely they can't be that unnacurate.

If the reporters were corrupt, they would have been fired, as Management can tell if someone is "fixing" the values, as it becomes quite obvious. I think the department is in good shape at the moment, and I will continue using the values, as I believe them to be good.
