    I only heard of this for the first time on Jonothan Ross' Film 2009 show on BBC1 last night, and it looks bloody fantastic! According to Wiki it was released last month though?

    Anyway it's a CGI animated film, based on this award-winning short film; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hzCfOvsq64

    Official Trailer; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnoJecu9e7c

    If anyone's seen it, what did you think?

    Yeah, if I had previously seen that, I would have definitely been wishing for more to be made. I'll be making a big effort to go and see this.

    Thanks. I reckon I would agree with this line in particular;

    ... having seen the original short, the thought occurs that actually 9 might be more effective without speech. ...
    In fact, even though I haven't seen it yet, I could possibly go as far as saying the whole film could have been good without any of the numbers speaking at all, just like the short. The clips I've seen with Elijah Wood's voice just make me think 'Frodo' and I can imagine this being so throughout the film. I also sense it could be slightly disappointing as that review hints at. I don't think I've ever actually wanted a film to be so good before .

    i have one thing to say...

    i prefered watching the trailer than watching the actual movie.

    yes, i watched it illegally online 2 weeks ago.

    if you think thats bad, i watched UP atleast 2 months before its release date here.
