    Default Opera web browser

    Has anyone here ever used/use Opera web browser, I got told about it earlier decided to download it and I think it's really good, it even has a spelling check thing

    most browsers these days have spellcheckers.

    I use opera, find speed-dial very handy. I won't give it long before the silly boycotters come along and complain about it.

    Decided to avoid opera after what they did to Microsoft.

    Despite the crap they did with Microsoft I found it to be a really good browser - as good as Firefox at the time. But FF went crap and I moved on to Chrome before the EU episode.

    They took them to court or something which prevented them from including Internet Explorer with Windows 7 in Europe. I don't know if they did or didn't though.

    If I remember right, opera filed the claim and acted like numpties towards ever concession microsoft made. Google and Mozilla/ firefox joined in on Opera's side.

    Microsoft just gave in for some reason. I didn't know Google and Mozilla jumped on the band wagon?!

    If we're not going to use products from a company because of the "crap" they've pulled then we shouldn't be using products from Microsoft or Apple at all.

    I didn't say that, quite the opposite in fact. I had moved on from Opera before any of this emerged.
