    I could have seen this today but didn't like the sound of it, I thought it was just going to be like a documentary and the thought that it was made to make even more money out of his death just puts me off. Ended up watching Up instead lol.

    Indeed it is purely for monetary reasons, but still, it is what it is on screen and it's great. It's just all 22 of the songs he was going to perform basically, rehearsed.

    I wonder if they'll release those songs as an album and I wonder what will become of the secret collection of songs he was supposed to have written and left to his children...

    Well, they released an album to accompany the film, with the same title of This Is It. The only newly released song on it was This Is It.

    Michael had something like a hundred never before heard recorded and unreleased songs in his vault, and from what I hear they will all be released over time to support his children.
