Don’t miss the experts here to chat to the girls about HPV vaccinations and cervical cancer in the NHS Advice Infobus.
On Thursday 12th November and every Thursday in November from 4.30pm to 5.30pm, NHS health advisors will be in the INFOBUS to answer any related questions or queries that you may have about HPV, cervical cancer and the HPV vaccination.
HPV stands for human papillomavirus. HPV is sexually transmitted and over half of women are infected in their lifetime. A small minority of HPV strains can cause cervical cancer.
The HPV vaccination will help protect against cervical cancer. The vaccine will potentially save the lives of up to 400 women each year.
We have not only invited the health experts to come this week, but up until December, they will be here to help you. There is also a dedicated group for education about HPV, cervical cancer and the vaccination.
