    Default No hardware-assisted virtualisation :(

Hey, I'm running x64 Windows 7 Ultimate. My processor is the Intel Core 2 Quad 8800. Now, it says it doesn't have hardware virtualisation on Intel's site. Now, my issue is that I want to run a virtual PC, and with the new Windows Virtual PC it wont let me because my CPU doesn't have hardware virtualisation... fair enough, but when I was running x86 Vista I could run Virtual PC 07 and use virtual machines... so what's up?

I've tried running Virtual PC 07 and it wont let me due to "compatibility issues".

So what's going wrong... my CPU hasn't changed since 32bit vista. :S Any help would be great.

I've had one of these and sold it, because, as people have said, ts not 64bit compatible - shame really.

No idea, I've not changed the BIOS though since it worked.

Huh? The 8200 is 64bit compatible, but has no hardware virtualisation.
