    Default Smartphone help?

I am looking to buy a smartphone. I would like help deciding which - these are the features I am keen on -

    Slide-out keyboard (QWERTY)
    Touchscreen
    Good internet browsing

Now I was looking at the NOKIA N97 mini but since the disaster of the N96 I am kinda scared to go with Nokia again?

Also the XPERIA x2 I looked at, that seems kinda decent.

Any suggestions? I'm with vodafone and can't really change

T-Mobile G1 (HTC dream) and HTC Touch Pro 2 are both worth looking into. Android and Windows Mobile are both good Operating Systems and both are good phones.

I'd say the HTC HD2 which is due to be released in the next few weeks. The Opera Mobile browser is very good for browsing. The phone it's self has an enormous screen and is very powerful however it might be a bit too big and does lack a qwerty keyboard.

Best phone including a keyboard without doubt is the HTC Touch Pro 2, got one last month and it's been great

Basically, I have to decide between these:

    - Sony Erricson XPERIA X2
    - Nokia N97 mini
    - HTC HD2 (I did want a slide out QWERTY but this looks really nice)

    Any input guys?

HD2 looks superb from the videos I've seen of it! None of the horrible windows mobile lag that older phones suffer from and a capacative touchscreen with aparently the best mobile browsing experience on any device (yes better than you iphone!). Like jordy said the size is the only real limiting issue.

I wouldn't go for the N97, it seems really underwhelming. I'd consider the motorola milestone but idk when it comes out! The DEXT is supposed to be pretty nice too

Go into a phone shop, then you won't have to wait for delivery

Is it officially released yet or still in the pre-order stage?
