How does this sound?

My brother is talking about getting another 360 because he needs a new MW2 disc and he wants the MW2 edition 360. He was going to trade in our current 360 to go towards it but I've been thinking about what to do with my PS3 for a while now so we reckon he should trade the PS3 in for it and I'll have my 360 back because I'd prefer one so then we'll both have a 360.

For an 80GB PS3 and a Guitar Hero: World Tour guitar, GameStation are offering around £100. I've also got a second controller and a few games. I pretty much know I'm basically going be ripped off for my £500 PS3 but I never use it so there's no point keeping it. I was thinking eBay may be a better option but I don't have a clue what to expect from that because everyone has them for sale at all sorts of stupid prices.

80GB PlayStation 3 (original) + 2 Wireless Controllers
Guitar Hero: World Tour + Guitar
FIFA 09
Little Big Planet
Killzone 2

I can't find the box for it though (annoyingly I have the 360's box). So does anyone have any advice on what way I should go and how much I should get for stuff?

I think thats pretty stupid tbh. A PS3 (+ games & gear) and an 360, for a 360? No freaking point. If theres a PS3 exclusive you want you can get it along with any 360 exclusives you want, but you'll just limit your game choices and waste a bunch of cash.

No he wants to get rid of the PS3 so he can have his own 360 and so can his brother.

Oh right, my bad . Then yer if you prefer a 360 get one, and your best bet is to check ebays rates and compare them to trade in rates.

Yeah but there's all sorts of prices on eBay so I don't know which are realistic. I'm not worried about PS3 exclusives, I hate playing on it at all.

I dont know if theres a CeX Entertainment Exchange near you but they tend to beat trade in prices from Game/Gamestation. Looking online they'd give you around £180 for all you've listed (thats included the PS3 WITHOUT the box and sixaxis controllers, not sure if your controllers have sixaxis)

But yeah, worth a visit if theres one near you
