What do you use your EMA for?

How does everyone spend their weekly EMA? (Education Maintenance Allowance)

I saved up most of mine.

nothing educational. depends what i need money for. usually like beer, clothes etc

I used to use mine on DVD's in tesco on my longg breaks, oh and chips and gravy from tesco cafe haha. Exciting stuff.

i save all mine (not by choice, my mum puts it away) but have to use some because my bursary doesn't cover the cost of my bus pass
i keep most of the bonuses though and buy clothes.

Clothes, presents, going out, phone, school trips aka train fares and gallery enterances. I must admit that I spend most of it on train fares

I love how the majority people who do get EMA don't actually spend it on educational stuff, or travel to and from college, etc.
I personally, don't think it's right for it to be a subjective form of payment.

I hardly spend mine, just builds up in my bank account. Mind it's very useful when I need money because I can't get a job due to living in such a rural area so if i didn't have it I would have no money.
