The Winter Olympics!

Yeeeees, that's right, the Winter Olympics have come to Habbox! From today the 18th up until the 30th January, the events team will be working hard to bring you plenty of themed events to get you into the spirit ready for the real Winter Olympics. That's not all though..

For each event points will be awarded to 3rd place, 2nd place and 1st place for each round just as a bronze, silver or gold medal would be awarded in the Olympics. You can win 50 points for 1st, 25 points for 2nd and 10 points for coming 3rd! The points will be totalled and added to a leader board so you can keep track. On the 29th, the top 12 in the leader board will win either forum or Habbo prizes (or a mixture of both) depending on your preference! And, if that's not good enough, the top 9 will all be offered a place in the Fansite Finals on the 30th January playing for Habbox against other fansite's top players.

To get you into the mood, the competitions department will be doing a series of Winter Olympic themed competitions with a mixture of prizes available to the winner. HxHD are also chipping in with a few quizzes in which you can win points towards your total and a chance to win some forum VIP.
