Are you 'in with the know'?

Do you feel that you know the news, the latest gossip and other things like that?

Like, if someone said to you now 'oh did you hear about', would you be able to say 'yes' and comment on it??

I think I am well in the know because I am subscribed to a lot of RSS feeds, use twitter daily and have notifications pushed to my phone, aswell as reading the newspaper, watching tv news and subscribed to channels on youtube!!!

In terms of news and things I suppose I am, I check often and get links sent to me which I can send on. In terms of gossip and stuff about people, not really at all

Weirdly, yes. I say it's weird because I've got mates who got all A*s and who get firsts all the time at uni (basically a lot cleverer than me) yet I'm always the one who knows all about the news. Don't even get me going on sport (don't even know if they realise such a thing exists) :8
