Security Tool Virus

Hi, I was up fixing my friends' auntie's laptop when they asked me to fix another laptop which had 37 viruses (not really). They accidently downloaded Security tool which pretends to say you have viruses and they ask you to purchase the program to remove the viruses though they only want access to your bank details to access money.

I know i need Malwarebytes to remove it. I have downloaded it and it automaticly puts it into Temporary Folder. I checked the Temp folder, to find it wasnt there :S any help?

change it so it doesn't save to the temp folder?

It wont let me and when the download completes the box disappears even though i checked the box so it doesnt.

If it helps its vista.... The Program wont let me open Windows Defender..... or the Task Manager (CTRL + SHIFT + ESC thing).

aha this virus is a ***** to be honest
my friends mother had it on her computer
so I just system reinstalled the whole thing sorted things out lol

I tried to do a Disk Clean up though it wouldnt let me. can you tell me how you restored your mothers' please?

Yeah but it wont let me download the files. I tries that before, I know how to get rid of it, but wont let me download Malwarebytes
