Sam Broadcaster 2

Hello there,
I appriciate you taking your time to look at this thread, and i was wondering if anyone could name the problem, everytime i start up Sam Broadcaster 2 I get the message saying "Connection to Database failed!"
Was wondering if there was a solution to this rather then keep re-installing it

I had this problem a while back. I had to delete each and every single file related to SAM 2/MySQL, reload my computer and then reinstall it. It worked fine afterwards ^^

I had the same problem as Davey did. just make sure you delete EVERYTHING related to sam2 and mysql, reload and reinstall. its just some stupid glitch thing with the sam program.

Or what you could try, is installing it with another kind of database? it started to make me mad at one point cuz noone knew how to fix it, i got loads of help nothing worked, so i just switched to prostege SQL and it worked fine.

^^ SAM 2 auto downloads and comes with MY SQL. The other database selection usually comes with SAM 3, which is what I got him to try- hopefully that would work .
