    You shouldn't be so soon to dismiss older films. By doing so you're missing out on a great deal of masterpieces and great movies.

    Anyway, check out Deep Impact, Armageddon, Independence Day and War of the Worlds.

    Fact is, the older the film the better in most cases. 80 percent of what Hollywood churns out these days is utter, utter ****. There is simply no comparison to the films of yesteryear. Dismissing them is foolish and ignorant.

    It's not really ignorant. I can't stand older films.

    Disctrict 9 is a decent sci fi film, maybe even star trek, not seen that though ;P
