Default (Book) Of Mice and Men

I really love this book and Flim. I'm not really a fan of reading books imo but so far this is the only book that i have really enjoyed reading.

Anyone else read the book/watch the film?

Seriously, i recommend reading the book, it's so intense throughout and there's the occasional funny bits.

I did Of Mice and Men for my GCSE text and I really liked it. I actually enjoyed doing my coursework because I just really interested in the characters lol. Lots of comedic lenny accents in my class lol I didn't like the film really, but I think that was just because I knew the book too well.

I read it a few months ago for my Standard Grade English and watched the film. I found it interesting and managed to write a decent essay on it cos it's really easy to understand and everything. The ending was quite sad though, but I suppose it was for the best really. Quite sad as a whole, but funny in parts.

Can you elaborate on this? I haven't read or watched it but I saw this line mentioned in the title of a Facebook group and wondered what it meant.
