College interview

I've been asked for a college interview for National Deploma for Art & Design Level 3

They've asked for piece of my drawing from school & from in my spare time

Both of which i haven't got.

Not sure why they need to see them because Fine Art is just one unit out of about 8 you do on the course, one of which includes photography and fashion and they haven't asked for examples of those...

Shall I be honest and say I don't have any drawings or shall i tell a white like and say i forgot them or couldnt find them


Btw, i'll be taking some other work in such as painting and final pieces so it's not like im taking nothing in at all

this is the course i do and tbh u cant get through it without being able to draw, all photography and fashion and everythnig require you to have basic drawing skills.

i would do some quickly now

and surely you have at least one drawing from school if u did gcse art

The home one you could do anyway, can't really argue with that but I suppose they can't do much if you have no work from school or you could lie and say another one is from school.

Just draw them up and take them.

Otherwise you should be OK consideringyou have other things to show them. But yeh you must be able to draw..

can't you do something quickly or take in some previous work?

Hmm it would be good if you have a small sketchbook with some drawings in it. You shouldn't lie or not do it. Just do some random observation drawings now. It won't take long. Maybe some control and loose pencil work.

If you have been asked to do this intervieew u Must be pretty good?
Just draw a quick thing forthespare time one and do u rlly not have anything?

White Lies FTW Lol erm just do the drawing/s and just let them no its not your strongest topic out of all of them and just bring in what you can and maybe something extra on the best thing your good at in the unit or w/e just to show that your not being lazy and it makes up for the drawings and shows willing.
