C4 #$%*&!

How annoying is that glitch with C4. Where you drop it, and if you wait too long before detonating it, it resets so instead of detonating, you just drop it again. :eusa_wall

Or is this meant to happen and not a glitch? Stupid idea if it is.

Not come across it before but then again i dont really use c4 that often. Are you sure you haven't got scavenger on and picked up another one? Or maybe there is a range on the c4?

I only use it when I'm nuke booster hunting and not with Scavenger. That range idea is a great suggestion! Thanks, I might try and test that.

Double tap reload instead to detonate it.

I haven't had a chance to try that yet. I'll see if it stops them disappearing next time I'm playing on 360, or if I unlock them on PS3.

To clear up a few possible causes:

It could have been shot?
When you respawn all claymores / C4 disappear
You can only have 2 Claymores / C4 down at a time
You could be to far away to detonate it (there is a range limit i'll try and find the video)
You might of picked up another (double tap the reload button (X / Square) to detonate it.

It might have been flash or stunned which temporarily stops detonation (I think)

check if you've got scavenger turned on :/

That or a time limit is the only possibility. I've only been playing it on PS3 lately so I'll try and figure it out once I unlock C4 again.
