Logging in problems?

Basicly, my laptop froze so i restarted it, i went to log onto my user and it says something like 'login failed please try again later' so i tryed again half an hour later and said the same so i tryed logging onto my mums user and it said and did the same anyone know what it is? i really need to know D:

Check caps lock isn't on and none of the keys are stuck down (eg. shift)

If it's windows XP and you haven't set an administrator password, you could try this:
1) Press Ctrl+alt+del twice
2) Type as username: Administrator
3) No password, click OK.
