USB Memory Stick Problems

Hey

I've got a 4GB SanDisk memory stick and I made a bootable linux "live cd" with it and now I cant get it back to how it was. When I go to format it by right clicking it it says the capacity is 63.7mb. So I went into disk management and I can see the 3GB unallocated but it wont let me allocate it as everything is greyed out.

Any ideas?

Have you tried using something like Easeus Partition Manager? Or even gparted, one of them should be able to see and format it

As above, Windows' partition editing functionality isn't great, get something like Paragon Partition Manager, GParted etc.

Use Gparted, or might wanna check it's not a fake (if bought from ebay).

I had this error on a previous USB stick, except it turned to 8MB. Unfortunately I snapped it before I read this thread
