Default Poems: Thought they would belong here.

I write poems about my life, mostly love (yeah, I know). I have many private and some public, here are a few. I've posted some for you before.

    # Talk to her
    # Written by Tom Spiteri
    # From: http://tomspit.com

Just talk to her is what they all say,
And yet I’ve been trying for nearly all day.

Every single time it seems to go wrong,
So I crawl into my shell and then write a song.

I’m a person who lacks confidence,
    An emotional mute,
    Some say a loser,
    I refuse to dispute.

She’s my passion, my love and she fires my flames,
And everyone I tell seems to think it’s a game.

I’m worried, I’m scared and I don’t know what to do,
So I crawl into my shell and then write a song.

    It’s for you.
    # Dead Tone
    # Written by Tom Spiteri
    # From: http://tomspit.com

    No contact, more pain,
    It’s driving me insane,
    Like your playing some game,
Will my love ever feel the same?

    Confidence is key,
I want you to be with me,
    But still I cannot see,
    Will this love ever be?

    Tender love and care,
And now she is not there,
    Speak to her I dare,
Oh this love is just not fair.
    # Kenneth Robert Lamprey
    # Written by Thomas Spiteri.

    A part of the family,
    A piece of me,
    A carer, a lover,
    A father of three.

A simple man of working class,
Basic belongings with nothing too flash,
Beliefs that guided through long, tough times,
A real great grampy, I’m glad he is mine.

Now this poem I give to you,
    My caring and loving grampy,
Or better known to those around,
    As Kenneth Robert Lamprey.

    Rest in peace.
Thanks for the read. I appreciate it.

I really liked them! They're really passionate, and I think the rhyming makes people realise how long you've thought about the words
