    Default Blackberry 8520 or 9700?

    Hmmm,

I purchased a 16GB iPhone 3GS on PAYG about a month ago and now im really regretting it. I barely use any of the apps and its like i've wasted £450. So i want to switch to a blackberry. They seem to suit me better, and i like the general style of them better compared to the boring iPhone layout. I've had an ipod touch for years so the look is getting a little old now and already im trying to sell my iphone for a lot cheaper than i paid for it :L

The 8520 is like 150.00 and looks pretty nice, but im wondering if i should get the more expensive 9700 in white which looks overally sexy. But is it worth the extra 200? Just hoping someone whose a bit more experienced with blackberrys could enlighten me a little

    Sorry if wrong section.

Sell your iPhone for 350.00 and buy the 9700.

Get the black RIM bold 9700.
Don't go for the white, reason being it actually looks yellow when you hold it at different angles.

The bold is a better purchase because it benefits from operating system 5.0 instead of 4.5, it benefits from 3G net speeds instead of 2G/EDGE, it feels a tad more expensive, it has a better and more smoother feel when using it and also it's had a lot less issues than the RIM 8520.

Also, when you look at spec, it's more powerful. Such as processor.

Its actually extremely good for music! I don't have an MP3 because i use my bold for my mp3 player. It's immense is all i can say. I use it all the time on the way back from work - using msn, using the mp3 player and using it for the net. Great for multi tasking also !

Well i think you've persuaded me Im definitely getting it in white though. If i dont like it i always have 14 days to exchange it. Now i just have to sell my iPhone. Considering im asking £350 for a 1 month old 16 GB 3GS, it's surprisingly hard to sell. People expect stuff for nothing!

Sadly, the new Iphone 4 is released in the UK (and five other countries) on June the 24th.
As for the fourteen day returns policy you speak of for your RIM 9700 WHITE, no network operates a cooling off period. If you purchase a handset, there's no returns. Go for the one you want as you're stuck with it.
