Default Do you remember year 7?

Talk about the scariest, funniest, awkward and embarrassing memories of your first year in high school.

I remember our English teacher back then was a bit of a dope and would fall for anything. We would literally terrorise the classroom as well as eachother with weekly articles each student would get. We, as a whole class, would crunch up the A4 piece of paper as soon as we received it, then wait until someone purposely distracted the teacher e.g, saying "there's a teacher outside miss". she would then go and investigate and as soon as her movement turned, we would create havoc and launch paper balls at class mates. some even made paper aeroplanes. it was just hilarious to think how awesome it was and how nursery like behaviour we had.

The scariest was having the head teacher as our religious studies teacher. but surprisingly, he was a great teacher who wouldn't be as bossy or judgemental outside the classroom.

my awkward moment was having a teacher who didn't appreciate little Xmas cards given to her. she gave a 5 minute talk about them and for some reason when the class was over, i gave her my card which i had written out the previous night.

Embarrassing was in P.E, we were in the changing rooms, I just changed from my pants into my shorts and before I could even tie them up, someone dekecked me (pull your pants, boxers, shorts down). I was circumcised when I was about 11 and people made jokes about being circumcised. Then i kinda got bullied for supposedly being Jewish.

Scariest was probably the first day. I had gotten really bad eczema over the summer holidays from none to like....a red face with like puss coming out of my cheeks. It was horrible. So on top of the whole new school and the fact no one was coming from my old school meant that i had to deal with that and more. So yeah, really scary and absolutely HATED it, probably because it was so uncomfortable (physically).

Awkward was probably the initial meet and greet that we had in our tutor groups. I get pretty shy when forced to meet someone, so having to meet a good 30 people meant i was just like ugh pretty awkward to talk to some people.

Emberassing was probably in one of our science lessons, i'd been pretty quiet and was leaning back on my stool, and this was still early in the year so no one really knew each other. I leant back a bit too far and fell over, hit my head and had to keep my cool despite it hurting like mad. Everyone laughed, oh dear.

Don't really remember many funny moments sadly. Although beating **** loads of people despite missing 4 months of year 7 in the year 7 tests (by far might i add, no revision coz im k00l like that) was pretty funny. But no actual funny moments

I remember a fair ammount of things from Year 7 (I am now 19). I can remember my first ever lesson of Year 7, it was French, and I vividly remember the teacher threatening us about what would happen if we didn't do h/w or misbehave. I also remember in a DT class in Year 7, one of our class super glued a block of wood to the table, and the teacher, who was a pretty old guy trying to pull it off!

All I remember is passing love notes around in class on the first day, oh how we mature over the years.

I remember my first Science lesson in year 7, we had two of the year 11's at the time in our class who were mentoring and the teacher said ''guys, do you remember your first day of year 7?'' They both answered no. To this day that's the only memory of year 7 I have to myself (to myself as in, off the top of my head, I might remember stuff if people tell me but other than that, I don't remember much).

Oh **** yeah, us 2 missed so damn much. That was bad. And i cant bleieve you remember that

OH FUNNY TIME. After my absence of like 4 months like i said before, i was in science and we had this weird teacher. I didnt really have a seat so she was like do u wanna sit in the middle (next to someone i didnt like it) or at the front with no one. so i chose no one. Then she was teaching and had to go towards the back of the class to show something and was like "Dont worry Niamh, i'll be back" and then winked at me.

Actually, that wasnt really funny at the time, more...REALLY REALLY weird.

    lol

i remember the guy i liked asked me out but he wasn't "conventionally" attractive, everyone thought he was ugly but i liked him. i said no anyway cause popularity was everything and you needed a hot bf so you could swap every week with each other. he got hotter near the end of the year and everyone was after him :/

some guy tried to sharpen his nose n it bled

i got my first boyfriend for a whole 3 days n my "best mate" told people he only said he'd go out with me because i cried on cam to him, totally didn't

my mates bf sending me love notes for her in class (cause they said 3 words to each other n just giggled :/) and the teacher reading them out thinking they were for me. n once we were all playing basketball and she hit the ball off his face and he cried so she dumped him.

i got the top score in rme and history :eusa_danc

omg xmas dancing when you had to pick i went to chose sum1 n he said no :/// so the teacher (bald n short, had an affair with my reggy teacher) told me i could go with him

    i miss that

Yeah I remember it really well even though Year 7 was the third year of Middle School for me so it wasn't anything different. High School didn't start until Year 9.
