Looks great for a first alt! The shading on both sides of the flick doesn't really go well, it makes the bright bit look like a tube!
Try and do the shading from the bottom and make it reach to the top.

The shading ruins the alt in my opinion.

You have the normal hair then the shading doesn't continue consistently and the added bit looks too flat. The flick needs to be more 3d.
Also, the normal hair: the line at the back just carries on and stops at the new hair, this would look better if the flick started there at one side.

+The bottom of the dress needs more shading.

Not bad, i agree with the flick, you should start off just with shading then get onto that stuff.

it doesn't really flow it just goes randomly from straight to curved do it gradually not just all of a sudden but good try for your first alt

Yeah like the other people are saying, you should do more shading at the bottom of the dress.
Nice dress that you made though!

That's an improvement. Probably at the bottom of the hair you could do a darker shading reaching to the top?

The line art isn't right, youre trying to create a flick, its like the whole hair has been moulded and it needs to go over her shoulder or get rid of that dent bit in the hair (from the original style). Also, the bottom of the dress needs to go around her legs, so need more curving at the right edge bit.

Also the hair you made isn't shaded properly, but kudos because hair is tough.
