signature violations

came to my attention when i got a warning earlier

yday i get a pm saying it's 20 px too big (lol)
i log on today *didnt see this pm yday as I WASNT ON* and in the process of changing it - i had made a thread on another forum asking for it to be resized
an hour after logging on its removed and im given a warning

yeah, it's too big. the warning should only come if the user has been on for 24hrs cuz its a genuine mistake. so if i hadnt come on would i have been given a warning :S

why not just remove them without warning

tl;dr - cant remove sigs if u aint been online so stop giving out warnings/infractions

i dont want mine removed cuz i rly cudnt give one but it's a bit silleh

The moderators check whether you have been on since they sent you the first pm. If you are active after the 24 hours of being PM'd they take further action as they assume you are ignoring it.

If you hadn't have been on you wouldn't have been warned.

I don't think a warning should be given out for something like this, if its something blatantly obvious and try to cause problems then they should receive a warning. If the sig is too big the moderator should remove and explain to the person that it shouldn't happen again and if it does they receive the warning.
