does anyone know how to make the bottom bar like facebook has that sticks to the bottom of your window, and scrolls with you. I saw a few examples but none i saw that were simple and worked.

I use a Meebo Bar on Radiio, and it's actually pretty worthwhile. Probably not quite as feature packed as CometChat, but well rounded and in my opinion better looking.

Don't waste your time with CometChat.. especially if you're wanting to integrate it with a forum, in a very large multi-user environment... because then, it's crap. Trust me.
