    Default Problem installing Windows 2000

    Hi

I have recently built a very basic computer using leftover parts I could scavenge. It isn't a very powerful machine so I have decided to install windows 2000 to go easy on it but I cannot install it; the hard drive is formatted and the windows 2000 disk I have is not a boot disk so I cannot install it. Is there any way to do this?

    Thanks

Not if you dont have the right disk, try looking for some Iso's?

If you do not understand what Techie! said which you might not do, he means look for a virtual version of the disk.

I have tried linux before, it's good, just not enough of my favorite programs support it.

Solved: Needed to press enter whoops.

Windows 2000 is ancient... even Microsoft has dropped support for it (and they bloody should do for XP!! ¬_¬)
