    so so so so happy! one of my favourite bands, amazing album thoroughly deserved.

    whats your opinions on the win? there was alot of support for laura marling this year. did you think she should've won instead?

    I'm happy for them, but I think by giving the xx the prize, they're heading into irrelevency, people look to the mercury as a minority award, but by giving it to the most popular album on the list, it doesn't help.

    HOWEVER the fact that the xx has become this popular shows why they got the award, it united both the indie crowd and the mainstream in a way no other this past year from a album as quiet and soft as this.
