    Post International Involvement with HxHD.

    Hey David, Shar and others,

I think this has been posted before but I think you guys REALLY need to hire some International HxHD Trialists (I've been told by several Habbox members that no Intl. HxHD applicants were picked, not sure if its true), the international Applicants may not of had good applications, but when you think about it the Help-desk is really in need of more International Staff, so why not just put a few International Applicants on Trial and see how well they do (some people can perform, but can't write).

It's 8:10am and surely at least 1 member of staff should be helping? But no, there is only 2 of us in here and funnily enough we are both international, there has also been 5 or so people coming to the help-desk during a 1 hour period I was there, in need of help but with no-one in here, myself and another anonymous person have had to help them in order for Habbox to retain it's reputation.

Try not to take this to heart management, but you guys really need to get more active trialists, at the moment the HxHD isn't improving, it's deteriorating.

I don't want to sound like i'm whining (which many of you will think I am) but something really need's to be done. I can't control what need's to be done but I can try to help management to get done what need's to be done. (Just confused myself)

So yeah, let's actually have a talk about this and get it sorted.

5 people in one hour is an exageration... just sayin'.

Maybe one or two people an hour come into the helpdesk seeking help during the times I'm there and I help them to make sure people don't think badly of Habbox. Anyway, there must have been no good applicants from international involvement which I can understand.

Edit: If this is written off as a one off, I wouldn't mind because today has been quite quiet to me as well.

Not really exaggerating, I mean 2 when you where in here, another 2 when I was in here (ok maybe slightly, but you get the point).

No good applicants from International Involvement, like I said maybe David or Shar should just trial them, good staff are not always based on applications, alot of people suck or don't like/don't know how to write, but they may still be able to perform the task to better abilities then others.

The time when you were here and when I was here? I was gone for like 5 minutes due to autokick.

To your second point, I have to agree. Good applications don't always mean good staff and vica versa. I kind of have a background of dissing the HxHD so I can understand why I wouldn't be offered the opportunity, but if (and they are) the department were looking for international staff, they should definitely offer trials to some of the rare breed. (In comparison to the rest of the forum.)

I do agree that there does need to be more international people in the helpdesk. I'm sure david and shar would discuss this and maybe make this a possibility

Well, as I only go in to the helpdesk when there's nothing to do on Habbo, to meet some more Habbox members, I hardly see anybody behind the desk. But I have to say, people may have other plans and people may not want to plan their lives around Habbo. Just saying.

On the other hand, international people in the helpdesk would be good as then you're guaranteed to have people behind the desk no matter what the time. If the helpdesk can't be staffed all the time, wouldn't it be better just to make a lounge for Habbox member to relax in?

Good to see you agree with me Josh about the second point.

I hope they do discuss and hopefully read this feedback thread, it would benefit habbox alot and would also be helping many Habbo members at the same time.

True Ben, maybe some people would have other plans, but not every single Staff Member.
Good Idea about the lounge, but I don't think David and Shar would be keen, I love the Help-Desk idea, but it needs to be properly controlled by Staff.

If they can't type well for an application, what hope have they answering questions in HxHD? There's a few HxHD staff that can't type properly for the life in them, goodness knows how they're there if their applications were the same

Applications are not really everything but they need to be somewhat good as it gives the Managers a feel oh how good/bad they would be if they were given a chance of becoming staff. Then not only that they have to be interviewed now as well and see how well they can cope with a few questions at them and so on. We may need international staff but not every time the applications open international people start flooding in.

True, that applications do need to be good. But as I said and you may disagree but hmm, not everyone is fluent at writing pretty much a C.V.

It does give managers a chance to to see for themselves, but the applicant could be different if they actually get a trial.

As far as I know at least 5 International Applicants applied for HxHD Trialist and none of them got in, I mean the UK applicants may of had better applications, but the Help-Desk needs ALOT more International Staff than UK Staff at the moment.
