    Default HC/ VIP worth it?

I've been a Habbo club member since the start and also a VIP member since it started.. but now that I dont use it as much as I use to I have decided not to renew my subscription just because I don't see the need.

So I was just wondering if anyone else felt the same way.. is VIP/HC worth its 25c cost? I'd rather spend it on new furniture tbh, I don't use the room layouts nor do I wear the badges the only thing I use is the clothes and I dont really care lol

    What do you think?

Tbh, I won 25c from HxSS and used it all on VIP, then I never went on Habbo again really. And it ran out about 3 days ago, a big waste.
I think that, if you aren't going to be on Habbo frequently - it's a waste.

However, if you use Habbo a lot, use the clothes available, make rooms out of the VIP/HC options etc then I contrast with my first answer and say it is worth it.

But, tbh, overall, it's clothes, furni, rooms etc. So no it's not really worth it.
There's also the fact that some people class you as a noob or a norm when you don't possess it.

I prefer to buy it because, I personally don't like the non-hc clothes. Obviously they are boring. But sometimes I go without HC/VIP for maybe a week or so.

I've bought VIP since it came out (total 6 months 4 days now) and had 77 months 15 days of HC before that, so you'll be assuming I think it's worth it... I kind of don't.

HC used to be very much worth it since you could more or less have it for free due to the price of a HC sofa and most of the other HC gift items at the time. Even before Habbo exchange came in you could use your HC gift to trade for fairly high value items. It'd definitely be worth it JUST for the gift. When exchange appeared you could trade for credits and HC became even better value since it was so much easier to convert the gifts to credits, then HC. Even at 25c HC was good value due to the value of the gifts in the hotel. There also used to be a large number of special offers on buying credits and HC which meant it was very very cheap if you took proper advantage of the promotions.

Since VIP came in, the gifts (although you get 2 per month now) are worth practically nothing, so you're in effect spending 25c/month just for the clothes. I personally like the clothes and always wear them but they are not worth 25c/month alone, at least not to me. You could be spending 10c less on HC and having most of the same clothes. The 'benefits' other than clothes/gifts of VIP (and HC for that matter) are pretty meaningless. There's also literally no offers on credits any more and only 60c/3months VIP offer available which is better than nothing but hardly amazing.

So why do I keep buying VIP even though I just said it's not worth it? Well the fact is I've built up so much HC furniture (and profit from it) before VIP came in, that I can afford to sell my stuff in the marketplace to keep my membership going for at least another few years. After that, £2 a month (60c/3months VIP) isn't that much really is it? That's the cost of a pint of lager at my local and I could easily do without one of those per month. Everything is relative and even though 20-25c/month seems a lot in terms of Habbo, it's only 6.66p/day in real life terms.
