This week, the makers of Back To The Future kicked off celebrations marking the 25th anniversary of the release of the original movie starring Michael J Fox.
In the same week, an Irish independent filmmaker has gone public with what he says is footage of a time traveller caught walking through a scene on a recent DVD release of Charlie Chaplin's 1928 film, The Circus.

Watch the video man, it's freaky. I can't think of any other explanation.

I'd say she was just scratching her ear but the grip looks so much like a mobile phone, or maybe she is just scratching her whole face.

Interesting stuff. Quite weird to think that in 1928, nobody would have dreamt of holding something their ear to speak to someone with..

seen this yesterday, i sent it to misawa and he's certain it's not a phone

i think shes simply talking to herself and she's trying to hide that she is by holding her hand up to her face
or that she's trying to hide her identity from the camera

The king of movies has confirmed it. It is not a phone.

Why wouldn't it be a phone? If Charlie Chaplin is trying to show what he thinks the future brings..?

Certainly is odd, what is the film about though? Why is the camera focusing in on her as if she's an extra to the film?
