Question Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage HELP

Hello, for a few weeks now I have been experiencing the following message when I open up my Internet browser "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". I am confused as to what the issue is as I am connected to the Internet and it works in Safe Mode.

I have tried scanning for any problems using my virus protection but this doesn't seem to help. HELP APPRECIATED.

Make sure it isn't set to work offline. That happened to me a long time ago when I used IE.

Out of curiosity why not use a different browser? Are you able to get online with other browsers, or do they display a similar error?

my mate had this after picking up a virus, when he went into connection setting in IE then clicked lan setting if you untick proxy boxes etc then it may work.
