Hey, basically I was wondering if anyone taking, or who has taken, Further Maths modules at A-level could give an insight into what it's like. What I'd really like to know is how much of a step up it is from standard Core modules and how big the workload is.
At the moment, I've finished C1,2&3 as well as S1. Bearing in mind that I'll be doing C4 and S2 at the same time, do you think it's feasible to learn FP1 and FP2 along side them? Also on that note, does FP2 rely heavily on FP1 or would it be alright to learn FP1 & FP2 at the same time?
The only reason I'd do the further modules is because I'm doing maths next year at uni so having further maths is much more beneficial than just a regular A-level. Although I might not actually sit the FP exams, since they won't make a difference to whether or not I get a full A-level once I've sat C4 and S1, it's definitely worth knowing the material but it's just about whether it's feasible learning it all.
