Great news really, one of the more obvious people involved it turns out in the end. Glad to see this murder hunt brought to an end at last. The motives etc are still very questionable though, I look forward to the trial which will no doubt be in a very long time

That was rather quick :S They must of found a lot of evidence or he admitted to doing it, considering he was only pulled in on Thursday :/

Must've worn him down. Be interesting to hear more about the reasoning etc. Liz Jones will be toasting with her expensive wine tonight *eyeroll*

I wonder how long he'll get if convicted, probably a 'harsh' sentence as its such a high profile case to show how 'tough' on crime we are.

Thank god for that! Now Jo can RIP and her family can grieve. I remember reading somthing about finding saliva on Jo's body and the attack was thought to be unplanned (explaining why they nabbed him so quickly)

That's always the issue with high profile cases and no doubt the question of how fair his trial is going to be will be raised.

Makes you feel sorry for her landlord though. His picture was on the News and everyone pretty much concluded it was him. He could sue if he wanted. Heck, he only needs to Twitter search his name and he'll have thousands of people he could sue!

He'll get sent to life imprisonment maybe but I'll give it ten years before he's released.

Wasn't he branded as being "mental" and a "nut job"? I remember seeing that splashed on the front pages of The Gazette and The Sun... That's not going to make them look very good, seeing as he's innocent:/

I wonder if they'll still show the reconstruction on Crimewatch this week which apparently cost £10,000 to film
